All students in the English and Certificate Programs for Internationals are required to have health insurance during their stay at
NIC. NIC does not take the responsibility for expenses incurred through illness or accident. If you do not have your own health insurance, you are required to purchase
G.B. Herndon & Associates Group Insurance. You must show evidence of full coverage by your own insurance plan at the time of registration.
G.B. Herndon & Associates Group Insurance will pay for the medically necessary expenses incurred from a covered injury or sickness which first occurs after you purchase
G.B. Herndon & Associates Group Insurance. This plan benefit pays up to $200,000 for eligible expenses. Applications forms are available at the International student office.
HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN REQUIREMENTS:
If your insurance plan must meet the requirements listed below or you must purchase
G.B. Herdon & Associates Group Insurance.
1. You must have a card written in English with your policy number and insurance company name, address, and phone number in the United States.
2. Your insurance must provide at least $200,000 total coverage for illness and/or injuries and repatriation.
