Program Objective:
This course offers combined specialized instruction in the
design and fabrication of crown and bridge restorations with
special emphasis on the techniques used in the artful specialty
area of cosmetic dentistry, commonly referred to as dental
ceramics. This field continues to be the fastest growing,
highest demand, specialized facet of dental technology which
offers excellent income potential land a stimulating and

II (Advanced Ceramics) Course Length: 480 Class

Part-time: 24 weeks (20 hours/week)
Program
Objective:
This comprehensive course is
specifically designed for the Crown and Bridge Technician,
having as a pre-requisite, knowledge of and skill in Crown and
Bridge. The ceramic student will learn theory and practical
application in the building of Ceramic crowns and bridges using
the three major brands of porcelain, and including framework
design and internal staining. The dental ceramist is a highly
paid technician working in a hi-demand field.
